Stow on the Wold Motor Show – 14 July 2018

Stow on the Wold’s Motor Show begins at midday on Saturday and runs throughout the day until 10:30pm. Over 200 vehicles will be displayed, however this isn’t just a collection of classic and vintage cars; motorised vehicles from lawn movers and agricultural vehicles to supercars will all be featured. There will also be driving demonstrations and motoring and general trade stands as well as Stow’s enigmatic Stoig who will be present throughout the day, although he will probably be so overawed by the occasion that he will be rendered speechless.

The day is designed to have wide appeal to all ages and is not just designed for motor enthusiasts; for children there will be a fun fair and electric go karting. Adults can try Field Archery.

Refreshments and catering stands will be available during the day and later on a hog roast and a bar in the evening with live music from Rough Cut Ruby, a Witney based band.

The Show takes place in The Queen Elizabeth Field, Lower Swell Road. GL54 1LD. This is also known as the Cricket Field and is an easy short walk from Stow Square. Entry is free.
