My Fourth Visit – and Not My Last

“This was my fourth visit to Corsham Field Farmhouse, and this visit was as perfect as the previous three! I stayed three nights with my parents. Corsham Field Farmhouse is a great base for exploring the Cotswolds.
We stayed in a family room, which was very roomy. Tea and cookies were provided in the room. The beds were very comfortable. I slept so well! The window in the bedroom looks out across a green field and rolling hills. What a great view to wake up to! Our bathroom was very spacious with a large window and lots of natural light (but plenty of privacy too, as at looks out onto another field). There are plenty of pillows, blankets and towels. The bath products were very nice too! Everything was spotlessly clean, and the room was freshened everyday. A wonderful breakfast is served every morning. We chose the English breakfast (delicious!), although there are other choices too. Cereals, yoghurts and grapefruit are also available. The lounge dining room is cheerful with a fireplace and looks out onto the green fields. Sofas provide a nice place to relax and read. Board games are available (my dad and I played Scrabble a couple of nights, which brought back some great memories of my childhood). This location is perfect! It’s just a few minutes drive into Stow (which, in my opinion, is the best of the Cotswold villages). At Corsham Field, you get the best of both worlds; the peacefulness of the countryside, but the convenience of being just minutes from the village. There is also a great pub (Horse & Groom) just a half-mile from Corsham Field, so within walking distance. The pubs in Stow are great too. We particularly enjoyed The King’s Arms, The Queen’s Head and The Porch House. It’s hard to express in writing how truly perfect our stay here was. Staying here is one of the reasons we’ve chosen to visit the Cotswolds so many times. The owners are wonderful! You will feel welcomed. We enjoyed chatting with them each day. The home is charming and cozy. We hated to leave. We will most definitely return to Corsham Field Farmhouse. If you want a perfect stay in the English countryside, I can’t recommend this place enough. You won’t be disappointed!”
